Hello all,
New guy here on the forums, just looking to occasionally lurk around the site. Hopefully gain some basic knowledge of everything related. I have smoked a few cigars from time to time on the golf course. Never just casually smoke cigars until recently and found out how much i enjoy them. Purchased my first 20 count humidor currently in the process of gathering information on how to properly season it. I have only tried Acid branded cigars but recently have been doing some research to start my collection of cigars.

Welcome from Canada brother. So tell us do you have any cigars you particularly enjoy.

20 count that's cute I give you 2 weeks and you will need something bigger. Enjoy the chaos.

always. o)

BUT, being a newer smoker, you should be buying things in twos to fives, and trying to taste as many different styles as possible. going a box deep early is usually a good way to wind up with ten to fifteen sticks you outgrew. give it a year of tasting as much as possible, then look at a cooler or wine fridge. we are VERY bad influences!

All this cigar stuff is just as exciting as picking up new golf gear... Not good.

think pokeman: gotta smoke'em all! it is an easy trap to fall in to, and can actually be quite fun too! (obviously)

primary concern should be learn what is out there, and learn your own preferences

then get a wine fridge for your exploding cigar collection. and also a seperate beer fridge, we're bad for your booze tastes as well. o)
