PARIS - Au revoir, Jacques Chirac, and bonjour to a new U.S.-friendly French president who identifies with the American dream and happily affirms that the French like burgers, Madonna and Miami Vice.

To France's "American friends," Nicolas Sarkozy said in his victory speech: "I want to tell them that France will always be by their side when they need." He added, "I also want to tell them that friendship means accepting that friends can have different opinions."

I guess this means they will once again be buying all their white cloth from US manufacturers.

I wanted to see more of the chick who was running. Her politics sucked but very easy on the eyes and really what will France contribute to us? (other than hot chicks and good wine)

The president of France might be pro-U.S. but that doesn't mean that the rest of his government will be....

And those members of Parliment will be the ones that will determine how things get done.

I think she looks good with clothes on, but a blue bikini isn't really a good look for her, in my opinion.
