New Smoke Eater

I landed a new job and will be commuting through the week to Pittsburgh, PA. I'll be staying with a buddy of mine. Unfortunately he's one of those dirty cigarette smokers! (j/k) So my new Ion Plasmacluster Generator just arrived, as seen in the August 2011 issue of cigar aficianado. It got good reviews, but I'm still curious to see if it will keep my room and clothes from smelling like cigarette smoke.



I'll keep y'all posted on how well it works.

The smoke eater is working well. The room smells like absolutelhy nothing. There's no ozone smell like a lot of purifiers emit, and there's cdertainly no smoke smells. I've even hung clothes over top of it to let the air blow directly on the article of clothing. After 8 hours in a truck with a pack of cigarettes being smoked, my clothes tend to stink pretty badly of cigarette smoke. I'll hang them over the air stream, about 3 feet above it, and in the morning the clothes smell like nothing. No odor whatsoever.

I can smell when a cigarette is being smoked in the house because it will blow up through the heater ductwork. However, within 5 minutes the odor is gone.

I am very pleased with the unit and would recommend it to anyone. Take into consideration the size of the room. I believe the unit is good for 110 sq ft or something close to it.
