Not sure how you guys feel about these rifles but I am quite a fan. I sent an email to get on the pre-order list. I know they're a bit expensive but it sure beats the $5000+ that the prebans are running. I am in the market for a new gun anyhow and just happened to trip on this tidbit of info.

I would love one, but being a lefty I would be worried about the ejected cartridges giving me 3rd degree burns on my face...

Tyler my friend that's the beauty of the AUG you can swap the ejection port to shoot spent cases to the right!
You mean to the left? My face is on the right side.
But that's awesome! I didn't know, and looking at where the ejection port was it looked really painful!!!

Yeah I meant to the left. Oops. I think you can order it as either left or right I know you have to stick something in the gun that throws it left. You can even switch barrels on a whim from14" all the way to 24" granted the 14" is rare and the barrels aren't cheap. If you're at all interested I'd contact those dudes in the link because I'm probably talking out my ass. One thing I'm sure of is the barrel swapping and the ejection direction (just not sure how you go about doing it).

Since your mouse button seems to be broken $2295. :tonguerol

OK adam, since you referred me to this thread, i'm gonna refer you to the opening comment in my .223 trhead, in that i was having a bit a trouble coughing up $1200. So the $2295 is an easy N-O, NO!

Plus, it look much more tactical in nature with less capability of long range "deer" shooting.

In case anyone cares shipping of the rifles has been delayed a week or two. They are not supposed to ship this week or next week. I should buy some magazines before the guns are available. They're sure to go up and up in price.
