Hi all.
My name is Sam Heimer. I'm a cigar enthusiast and free-lance illustrator. I've worked for Top Shelf Cigar company, and Holts cigar company. Been smoking cigars about 8 years now, just recently decided to combine my love of illustration with my love of cigars. Recently I've done a trade-logo for Tabacalera Falto, the Spooky Ticket for the Tatuaje Drac, and in the most recent issue of Cigar Press, I did the cover art, and have a four page spread with work samples and an interview.
I've worked in editorial, short-fiction illustration, comic art, clothing design, a myriad of show posters, album art, and band t-shirts, gallery shows with the Philadelphia Cartoonist Society and the Autumn Society of Illustration, and am now going to try and focus on putting together a target marketing portfolio to try and catch some more cigar work. It's been pretty fun so far.
