Too far in advance to plan- a lot of family will be in town. We'll either all get together or all be at our respective lodgings and will be asleep.

My best friend is moving to PHX that week...he and his wife are staying at my house for the night, so we will have a good time...I see lots of vodka and cigars that night!

I've found it's not where but who you're with that matters. Of course the where has to be cigar friendly.

Staying home with family.

Will get some Chinese Food, watch movies and play games and at midnight do a champagne toast.

The next day go to Mom and Dads for dinner.

I will be playing a poker tournament on the 30th. $550 NL Hold-em with $100 rebuy and $100 add on. Should be fun. We really don't do much on New Year's Eve...too many crazies on the road.

Probably do something like that except we will be in bed by midnight. Wife usually has to work and I am on call for my stores.

We usually spend new years eve around a bonfire at my folks house. Gonna be missing that again for the second consecutive year.

This year we will spend the night outside in the newly enclosed porch (just finished with the plastic) smoking and drinking under the patio heater. My parents, sister and her husband, and possibly my father in law and brother in law will be here.

I guess we are weird...we really like spending new years eve outside no matter the temperature.

Yeah. Typically we sit around a bonfire in my parent's back yard in Michigan.

It can be as cold as 10 below zero and the fire is so big we still stay warm.

One year we had almost two feet of snow out there and had to use a snow blower to clear a path back to the fire pit!
