NHC Surrogates

I picked up a bunch for first time via the $100 NHC sampler deal and I have to say these are smoking awesome right now. I was not expecting much based on some comments I read here but these have great balance of strength and Flavor. How anyone can say the flavors are muted is beyond me. Very impressive Dan! Anyone tried these lately and what are current thoughts? I would put these in my top 10 from last year.

Smoked one during the super bowl. I agree, they are more flavorful now then when first released.

I haven't tried anything in that sampler yet. I'm going to wait another month. I will more than likely smoke one of the surrogates tonight due to this thread..

Smoked one last week. They have calmed down a bit from release and are smoking very well. I liked them at the get go, but I like them a lot now.
