Early mornings come quick after a 2am night cap and 15 cigars. Didn't even hear the air raid siren. Breakfast at 730 a.m. And off to the factory for a smoke in the rumbus and rolling competition. All were calm till we sat at the rolling tables. We actually rolled on Jaime and Pepins table. The winner was Matt and 2nd went to AJ and Danillo. The contest was judged by Pepin himself.(I came in dead last) Pics to come of the winnings as well.
After the rolling competition we went to the farm and were served a traditional Cuban meal of fresh pig, rice and beans and other fresh compliments. All we kept saying this whole week is just how generous the Garcia family has been along with Pete.
After lunch we headed over to drew estates with Nick from Drew estates and seen another great factory. Tons of tobacco and rollers abound. Plenty of knowledge at this factory as well. We also got to meet the head manager of Sub Culture studios Jessie. This guy has great talent and a better personality.
Some of the shirts, key chains, ashtrays they are making are unreal to say the least.
From there we went to the marcados and street vendors to buy a few trinkets for family members back home. Heading to the last dinner in just a few. Already I'm sensing that even the greatest experiances in life must come to a end.
