Hello all, I'm Shane (autocane). I've appreciated tobacco since before it was legal for me to do so. I even used to try to carve pipes as a kid. My parents would find them and think that I was interested in the "other" smoking category. Soon as I turned 18, I purchased a comfortable little Peterson and have been enjoying since.

Within the past couple years, I have developed a greater appreciation for cigars. I am quite ignorant in the cigar world and intend to use this forum to educate myself. Specifically, I would like to move beyond my little 10 cigar humidor and get a collection going. My local cigar shop has been helpful, but $60+ a pop for a few cigars has kept me at a very casual rate. I want to develop my palate a little better.

Last night I enjoyed a Nub Cameroon.... Nice to meet you!

Welcome bro!

What have been some of your favorites?
That's somewhat difficult to say. I usually enjoy a cigar, but think If cigar "A" had a certain flavor like cigar "B", it would be perfect. So far there are only a few names that I really want to investigate further.
Carlos Torano
Nub (just had that last night, and enjoyed it, but a little mild)
Rocky Patel

When I started out I used to love Drew Estate Java, but those don't seem to do it for me any more. Things change I guess.
