If you can't get fresh mint(I may be the only one) don't use mint extract to make a mojito. Maybe if I work with the amount it will be a suitable substitute, but my first one SUCKED. I think I'll be better on the next one.

Mint seems to grow anywhere with a little potting soil and or dirt and sun light. Not sure what you got over there tho.

Watch I'll get some here and cause an agricultural nightmare. I'm sure they have it growing in this country though. It's a big part of Greek cuisine and that country is just west of where I am. Soo......

I'm not sure if you can find the particular genus and species of mint found in Cuba, but I have found that Kentucky Colonel and Curly mint work well.

Just do not plant it in the ground unless you want mint everywhere. We had it in out herb garden the previous owners planted two plants and there was about 80 mint plants before I ripped everything out.
