No Monthly Specials

My vendor usually runs monthly specials, but nothing this month. I wonder if this has to do with pending bills to normalize relations with Cuba, ie prompting higher prices from vendors?

I've heard it theorized that it could be related to lower supply due to poor crops recently

Another theory is that the specific vendor has taken a lot of losses due to a higher than normal volume of seizures in June and July

Based on my experience, I suspect the latter.

that "sale" has been on and off for 18 months.........

poor crops.....last two years have been bad crop years.
Seizures.....what is your source for this statement?

Habanos will sell down to the last 3 pack if they can,there is no reason to hold back.........

I think someone is building interest and will offer the "specials "again soon at a higher price.......

Note the use of the word "theory" and is based on the experience of many on this forum (including me) who received a letter from BCP last month.

Maybe it's just me and please do not get me wrong here as I do enjoy an ISOM as much as the next guy. But, perhaps it's much ado about nothing. With the plethora of phenomenal sticks we can procure from other countries I say sit back, enjoy the great smokes we can get now and for the first few months once ISOMS become available here in the U.S.
