Hello all,
I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Jonathan Drew this past weekend at the Little Smoke event in Spokane, Wa. JD highly recommended that I become a part of the BOTL and here I am.
I have been burning cigars for the better part of 20 years, but I think it has only been the last 10 - 15 years or so that I have really started to smoke them; I have always enjoyed them, but I think now I have better idea of what I like and why I like it. BOTL is the first cigar forum that I have been a part of. Most of my education (of all subjects) is completely self-inflected. As the saying goes "good decisions come from experience, and experience comes from bad decisions," so in the process of learning what I like I've also come to appreciate what I dislike.
I typically fancy larger ring gauge sticks of the medium-full to full flavor persuasion. One of my all time favorite cigars is the LVH Silencio.
Currently I live in Moscow, Idaho; I've been here for about the last 20 years before that I lived throughout the US and in the Middle East.
Thank you all for allowing me to become a part of BOTL.
Cheers,
Ryan
