I'm really looking forward to these. Can't wait. If the quality's up to par with the recent Drew Estates offerings, and the cigars have been blended to Dion's specifications, then these sticks should be incredible....

They are ready to go. I believe there will be a launch party at the end of March at Empire in NC. I was told that certain retailers would be getting some a bit earlier than that as well. I am hoping to give one another try while in Nicaragua next week.

The inital Nosotros that I smoked, which was from IPCPR (someone gave me two) was not that good. I have smoked one of the current versions and it is good. Dion tweaked the blend I understand, so looking forward to trying some more.

I also heard that the blend was "tweaked" from the original samples. I haven't had either, though. But I love the Liga Privada line and everything from Dion, so I must admit my expectations are unreasonably high, lol.

I have a friend that just smoked one that he received back in October and he told me he felt like it was a cross between a Cruzado and a T-52.

If that in fact is the case that will be a pretty tastey smoke in my opinion.

Dogwatch Cigar Radio reviewed these cigars 2 weeks ago on their podcast. They discussed the initial versions (from August 09 IPCPR) and the recently received ones from our trip to Nica last month. It's a good listen. Go give it a whirl.

I've been looking forward to trying this stick as well. Anything Dion has involvement in, is pretty damn good!

Yep, the ones from IPCPR were total crap...I was VERY surprised at how bad they were...

Although I don't have any confirmation, I assume that is the reason for the revised launch dates...More time to tweek and if needed, change the blend...

Tons of hype with this stick. I hope it lives up to the anticipation. I can appreciate Dion taking his time with the release though.

Brooks,

the one you sent me with a few months on it - tasted very good. I think they'll be just fine.
