Hey guys just a question that I am unsure about here. Cigars that come in tubes. Do you guys keep cigars in their tubes or do you take them out when resting.

Let me know gents.

I usually leave them in the tubes, but take the bottom off so they can breath. I had previously found that leaving them in the tubos tended to lead to mold...

Just my experience though...

I store in the tubes cap on. They are not 100% air tight. If you get mold your RH is way too high. I have cigars from 2-15 years old still in the tubes. No issues and some of the tastiest cigars i own.

I have some 60s and 70s and a few 80s and even 90s tubos all still in the tube cap on and never have had a mold problem. *knocks on wood*

I agree with Mike on this to a degree, your RH is probably way up there, or if it's not super high you are probably not using distilled water in your boxes.

Knock on wood I have never had a mold issue it was something I read. My temp is roughly between 65-70 and RH is roughly 63-68. I will now have KL so hopefully it gets to a more norm.

Forty that was hilarious I started laughing and my boss looked at me like I was crazy.
