One of the most pleasant flavours I have experienced in cigars has also come to be one of the rarest I come across - vanilla.

While I've had maybe half a dozen sticks that had an occasional, tiny hint of it, only two have had it as a prominent flavour - the Man o' War Virture, and the San Cristobal Seleccion del Sol (which attains an amazing vanilla flavour on the retrohale).

Could you, fellow brothers, recommend me some more sticks with vanilla notes and/or strong vanilla components?

Doesn't matter to me whether it's maduro or connie, mild or full, whatever it is. I just want me some more vanilla smokes!!

Thanks in advance :skew:

Most CT shade from Connecticut will give you a nice vanilla flavor. :)

I used to enjoy the Santiago Silk churchills years ago, I picked up not really vanilla, rather a toasted marshmallow flavor that I enjoyed in them. This was a decent cigar during the boom days, that I would revisit if they could be found again today. Something close may be in some milder cigars with Connecticut shade wrappers.

Now, are we talking -

Bourbon Vanilla?

Mexican Vanilla?

Tahitian Vanilla?

French Vanilla?

Or are we discussing that ever elusive Seven Year Aged Burnt Madagascar Vanilla?
