I got one for my wife's bday in September (half price sale from Macy's). Seemed well made and pretty powerful. We use it a lot and it does a good job of liquefying most things. Lately I notice the motor is sounding more and more quiet. We also have to press and hold the blender cup firmly down while blending, which is a pain. It's too bad, we love what it does but I can't see it lasting a full year.

I use mine everyday for the same reason your looking to get one. Had to get more veggies in also use it to grind coffee in a pinch. My basic recipe is kale, celery, carrots, half a lemon, and almond milk.

Went from this to a blendtec from Costco. (299.00) I'll never look back. So far we have made 168 smoothies or soups in it since owning it for roughly for months. There is nothing left except a smoothie when done blending.

Heard good things about blendtec also. Do you keep track of the smoothies on a spreadsheet?

Maybe in the future. 89 is more my price range right now. I think Im going to give the Nutribullet a try and see if I can make a habit of using it at least 5 times a week before dropping 300.

No we kind of make the same one every day and every once in a while switch it up. But the machine itself keeps track of how many total were ever made on the digital read out. Blendtec has about 50 different smoothies and about 300 recipes total free on their website.

You get what you pay for, We use a Vita mix we got from costco. It has gotten daily use for the last two and a half years and hasn't skipped a beat. We use it for everything from Smoothies to salsa to soup and have zero regrets.

We have both the Nutribullet and the Ninja. We haven't had a problem with either one and have had them for at least 3 years each, maybe longer. The Ninja gets used a lot more. It can do anything we throw at it. You can find them for $119 with 2 different size blending containers, which is worth going the $30 over your budget in my opinion.

We use a ninja whatever too. comes with a small bullet type container, a blender and a food processor. blender rarely gets used, the cup is good for a couple of cups of smoothie and the processor gets a lot of use mixing bread dough.

I received a Ninja for Christmas and use it everyday. Water, baby spinach, blue berries, frozen fruit and maybe some banana.
