Does anyone know of any possible problems with using the oak wood shelves that Edgestar offers for their wine coolers? I understand that Spanish cedar is king for humidity stabilization, but I found a "scratch and dent" 16 bottle with the oak shelves and would just like to use them for awhile if they aren't harmful. Thanks!

Oak shelves, wire racks, pieces of old cigar boxes... no issues either way.
When it comes to outfitting your box, the sky is the limit.
As Larry advised, it might not be best to place loose sticks directly on the "oak" but if you have boxes or trays or something, you'll be fine.
