Good call. I'll try something complex that I know well to see if it improves.Like you said take a few days off from smoking. Maybe a week if you can handle it. Then maybe shock it with something complex to see if the nuances come back.
Gurkhas seem to be better known for their packaging than their smoke-ability. Cigar Inspector gives the Royal Challenge 3 stars and the Seduction 1.5 stars (!!). Reviewer Aaron talks about a "unique sourness" in the RC and a "strange chemical note" in the Seduction, so you're apparently right; it's like gargling with bleach.Gargle with bleach
Or just smoke a gurkha...Same thing

I've experienced this EXACT condition several times. For me, it means that I've got a slight cold or allergy issues. If you want, you can smoke still, though I'd stick to cheaper stuff since it will taste pretty much the same! But it should clear up.Wondering if you've experienced this..
Lately it seems each cigar has been tasting the same: sweet. Like brown sugar. Odd. Never experienced this.
I'm gonna take a couple days off from smoking to see if that helps.
