Hi everyone! My name is Eric, new to cigars aside from some experiments in high school. I'm 27 years old, and purchased a couple of cigars Friday.

The first was a Macanudo Cafe Hyde Park, which i really enjoyed with my apple pie adult beverage.

The second was a Rocky Patel Edge Lite Toro, which left me wanting to brush my teeth nearly immediately.

My wife is probably going to murder me when my order comes in from today, but oh well.

I live in Cushing, Ok actually. Land of oil rigs and crude oil storage tanks. I've got a box of mac knockoffs from CI on the way, as well as a Victor Sinclair sampler.

The sampler has the following smokes in it:
1 - Connecticut Yankee
1 - Serie ’55’ Green Label - Sun-Grown
1 - Serie ’55’ Yellow Label - Cameroon
1 - Serie ’55’ Blue Label - Oscuro
1 - Serie ’55’ Red Label - Corojo
1 - Primeros
1 - Bohemian Bamboo
1 - Bohemian Black - Oscuro
1 - Bohemian Red - Corojo
1 - Bohemian Original - Brazilian Maduro

Any suggestions on what i should try first from that sampler?

Welcome from Chicago. I too started primarily with Macanudos and a handful of others (I still like Macanudos). Good luck with the wife. My wife knows when I have something coming as I suddenly start to pay attention to the mail which goes against my usual habits.
