Hey Brothers. I'm Formally "BrewsBro13". The reason for the change was because I have been through the ringer and have been forced to make some positive changes in my life after selling my business. I have a new perspective on life and am working towards getting it all back, especially in this New Year. I'm excited more than ever with my New Years Resolution and being part of a small percentage of people to follow up on their promises...WHY? Because I have to, life wasn't meant to be lived in this way and I'll be damned if I go out this way!! I'd like to rejoin BOTL and start anew, which explains my new name, which suits me and my passions; the things that keep me smiling.
"BourbonBinder" celebrates my 2 greatest indoor passions & hobbies: KENTUCKY BOURBON & CIGARS. Apart they are great but together OH MAN!!!
Did you ever have a bad cigar (I know I know no cigar is a bad cigar), but if you were to think about it and pretend the Cigar Gods weren't listening, have you had any? I have and had it not been for the amazing 126.7 Proof Bookers Unfiltered Bourbon (neat) in my left hand, it would've been a nightmare (Cigar in question is a CAO Pilon that burned hotter than a volcano).
Like Bourbon, the Binder, To me is the best part of any cigar. Think about it, it's the middleman between the Filler and the Wrapper, its what holds the cigar together and attributes very similar qualities in flavor just like the wrapper, except it doesn't get shown off. It takes the credit without asking for any screen time. Bourbon with a Cigar is quite the experience and the two go together like the Binder goes with the Wrapper or Filler. They were just meant for each other, without is (to me) like smoking a Padron 1926 without the Binder, it just doesn't do it any justice and the additional flavors you get from it are to good to miss out on.
It might surprise you by my ramblings but I was actually in charge of Marketing & Advertising in my Business (Cafe & Coffee Roastery). Speaking i'm not so great at but writing I quite enjoy & excel at. I'm looking forward to taking the time out of my day and spending some quality time with you Brothers and celebrating our beloved pastimes. Cheers! (not British, just love that word haha)
