A local woman barely escaped tragedy today. Marge Oslo, 75, just wanted to get a breath of fresh air in her little red sportster. She bundled up and got into the driver's seat as she had many times prior ... but today would be different.
On her way to the market, the accelerator became jammed and Mrs. Oslo panicked. She found herself weaving through traffic and wild-eyed pedestrians. Suddenly she lost control in a construction area and wound up crashing through the barriers and sliding down a ditch where a water line was being repaired.
The accident was caught on surveillance camera and shows two men who helped extract Ms. Oslo from the wreckage. Luckily no one was seriously hurt.
