Early this month I reached official full Social Security retirement age. Though I have no intention of retiring right now as my health is good and I enjoy what I am doing, I did put in for my Social Security. There is very little to be gained by waiting as I would have to live to at least 84 to equal out to what I am getting now at 66 until I am 84. So big day for me. I wish all of you success in your chosen profession as I need you brothers to make big salaries, pay your SS taxes and keep those checks coming!:D

On behalf of all Tax payers, you SUCK!

Just kidding Brother Dave :) I'm glad you are getting your "due". It is the hard working, overly taxed people such as yourself who've helped everyone else over the many years you've been paying into this..... and I'm glad you are now seeing some of the benefit you rightly deserve.

How about that bourbon.......

hahaha!

Congratulations brother! You may consider taking some of that SS money and tithing back here in cigar bombs. ;) I have a few people I could suggest. But I know you already are super generous!
Enjoy and thanks for sharing the milestone with us.

That's awesome Dave. I started drawing my SS back in March at the tender age of 62. I dropped to working part-time, 16-18 hrs a week and am loving it. Smoke a good one today, you've earned it.
