Online retailers with HTF's

do any of you guys use any online retailers for the more limited things. i havnt been into keeping cigars all that long but lets say like the tat M-80's. i am in afghanistan and things like this come up from time to time that i would like to be able to get a few but dont really know a good spot to purchase them. just looking for some helpful information.

Not to start with a philosophy lesson, but...

"HTF" is extremely subjective.

For example, the Tatuaje M80 (as well as the overwhelming majority of Tatuaje limited editions) is a single store exclusive.

In terms of a shop that has other "rare" or "limited" stuff floating in and out all the time? Some of the bigger Viaje accounts (Tower, Tobacco Grove, Empire) get most of the Viaje LE's; Jack Schwartz gets most everything, particularly if we are talking Litto; Tim at Burning Leaf does a pretty good job with most everything.

The short of this is, most of the stuff that we consider "limited" is both limited and a single store exclusive; not making it easier for anyone.

The best way for you to get a couple of each is to find members selling samplers of the new LEs. If I were able to send you sites where you could purchase them, they wouldnt be HTF....

Dan at new havana gets 90% of all the LE and "HTF" stuff from tatuaje, viaje, illusione. (unless it's a single shop release like charlie said above)

Usually, they are only HTF AFTER they sell out

For example, the M80s have been on sale for 5 days now, all anyone had to do was call and order a box...

Viaje spreads their sticks around (for the most part, they do a few single store Exclusives, but not many), so each store only gets a few boxes/bundles when something is released...best bet is to find a huge store with a huge Viaje/Tatuaje account and call them up, and put your name on the list the second you hear of something coming out...It won't always work, but most of the time it should...

Best stores for Viaje/Tatuaje are Tower Cigars, Empire Cigars, NHC and Tobacco Grove (although there are others, of course)...
