I work for the City of Stockton (and no, I would not live there at gun point). We are the owners of numerous dubious distinctions amongst them crime, waste (government mismanagement), foreclosure rate, unlivability and the list goes on. The rag that covers the City is not worth lining the bottom of a birdcage with, however, on this day a story ran that I thought was suitable for this board...

I was up in Stockton last summer watching my nephew play in his high school All Star football game at UOP. Some places looked pretty rough ... especially after dark.
