A friend of mine brought me these from his trip to Amsterdam.

I noticed this on one of the H. Upmans... Looks like an ink blotch, but I don't know what it could be.
Any ideas?
Also, I don't have a lot of experience with CCs, but these have a really strong wet cedar smell (like pipe tobacco kinda strong smelling), is that normal?
He bought them as singles at a B&M in Amsterdam.

There must be alot of pipe smokers at my local B&M because I bought a couple Tat J21s from a 2014 box and I noticed an incense/pipe smoke smell to them when I got them home. The aroma carried through a little into the flavors of the cigars and I liked them more than the box I purchased shortly after. You may be pleasantly surprised.
Edit:
As for the discoloration I wouldn't worry about it. CC wrappers are not nearly as consistent as NCs.

Normal, I think it's a water spot, something to with the harvest and leaf damage. I have a box of "PSP" rated Connie 1,s that has a stick with one much bigger than that. For what it's worth I see it most often of Upmanns and Monte's

They look legit to me. I would keep them at 65 rh for at least a month before I smoked any of them. I bet they were over humidified.

Yeah... I've seen water spots before and they always have a bleached out/white color to them. This looks like an ink blotch.
