Elsewhere I've posted how much I enjoy the smaller RG Opus, particularly the #4, #5 and Power Ranger xXx. The one exception to this has been the Petite Lancero. I've never smoked a good one. Well ...

Yesterday I was picking through the Opus drawer in my cabinet, and came a cross a single PL mixed in with some other sizes. I figured what the heck, took it out and smoked it. I must say, it was wonderful from beginning to end. There was no bitterness or acrid aftertaste that I have experienced with other PL's. In fact, it was so good I'm going to pick up a few more and give this vitola another try.

Funny how this happens ... :scratchhe

All the PL's I've smoked were pretty darn good. I try to keep a couple of these guys on hand for a late summer smoke. Can't wait to try a reg lance though :eyebrow:

I have had the PL twice in my life. The first one had a little under a year on it, and the second one had just over a year, and boy was there a world of difference. The second one I smoked most definitely rates among the best cigars I have ever had. Just posted a review of it actually...
