Opus X sighting

Was at my local B&M (drapers) in DC.. and they had just recieved a small shipment of them.. Picked up a few perfecxicon #5 and Perfection X.. they also had the Belicoso, and the fuente fuente..

They always seem to let a few boxes out around now and then the full shipment right around fathers day.

On one of my trips out of state, I stumbled upon a B&M that had 2 boxes of Lost City's. A full box of Robusto's, and a partial of Piramide's. I hadn't planned on spending $30 for a single cigar, but I figured 'what the hell' and picked up a Piramide. I didn't think I'd see anymore of these, let alone a whole box. The shop gave me the empty box since I grabbed the last of their Piramide's. Think I can send in the form for the Lost City DVD even though I didn't buy the whole box?

Opus comes out quarterly, but I have heard that they may be reducing the frequency. At least it has been that way for me for the last year, I could count on being called March, June, Sep, and Dec 15th or close to it.

As for the boxes sitting on the shelf, well, it is the same near me but the shop marks up the boxes 40% so no one wants to buy them.....

Getting full boxes, at decent prices, is all about building relationships with B&M's. Most will not sell a box anywhere close to msrp to someone they do not know.
