Outta here for the weekend!

Yep, the G/F and I are heading to California to hang out for the weekend. Bikes are already on the rack on the back of the Jeep and we leave in the morning early. Going to watch the crazy ass people at Venice Beach and ride some trails along the beaches...watch the waves, drink some wine, relax a little...Been looking forward to this for a while. I can't wait!

Well, I have to tell you guy for those of you who haven't been to Venice Beach, you are missing out on the largest Freak Show on the Planet! Man, I saw some things that my mind couldn't process...holy shit...freak actually won't quite cover the things you see!

Man, we rode bikes from Venice Beach to Malibu and back (a long way to pedal!), then went for a walk along the boardwalk just checking out things, took a nap on the beach...Then rode bikes again yesterday morning before coming home last night. One of the neatest weekends ever...great food, good wine, excellent company, perfect weather...then back home to reality! What the hell is this???

so...to hell with Omaha next year, could you imagine the freak show with us all as extra freaks? Come one guys, let's do it.......
