OK, here's the deal. I DJ a tailgate party at Brett Favres Steakhouse for every home game. At this party, I sell a CD that has 25 Packer songs on it, after the last game, I had about 50 of them left which is a bit unusual, but none the less, I have extras. So here's my offer, I'm gonna take 5 of those CD's and couple them with a Favre 4 Ever DVD Documentary. I'm going to have this little contest up for one week, so at Noon on Wednesday Feb 6th it'll end. Here's what you need to do to be considered for one of these packages:

Write a reply to this post explaining why you're a Packer fan, how long you've been a Packer fan, what makes you a die hard Packer fan, and why you should get one of these prize packages. When the contest is over, I'll take the top five replies IMHO and send out your winnings! Easy. Let the games begin!

Of course I'm going to go back on other Packer posts and see who's replied in which way, who'd supporting, who's dissing. Any old posts that are edited will not be considered, my contest, my rules!

I like the packers because they represent cheese! And I like cheese, so you do the math! Ive been a packer fan for about 45 seconds now, but Im pretty sure Id die for them at any moment. I should get one of these prize packages so I can see what other "die hard" packers fans are listening to these days!

I'm a Packer fan becuase you are Wade. Your FANaticism is compelling, and you bike is freaking sweet. Farvre has always been a great guy and an excellent leader. How could you not like that guy, even if you are rootting for the other team. Aside from that you have to take notice of 300 pound men with there shirs off in 0 degree weather wearing blocks of cheese on the heads. Packer fans are crazy. I'll try to find a picture, but I was a Cheese head a few years back for halloween. Just a Packer sweatshirt and a foam cheeshead hat. I also carry the required beer belly for the costume. Well that's me. Good luck to the rest of you guys, but my expert composition skills, coupled with my brown-noseing abilities just won this competition. Boo-Yaa!!!

Why I love the Green Bay Packers: A Master’s Thesis on the Correlation between
Cheese and Packer Fans!

I love cheese! And you have to love cheese to love the Green Bay Packers. Common sense prevails in Wisconsin. Packer fans have a life line with their cheese! It is a fundamental necessity for their existence. There are three reasons why only a cheese lover could possibly be a Packer fan: Brett Farve Loves Cheese; Cheese keeps you warm; and, of course, Packer fans love to whine! And we all know what goes best with cheese….

The first and foremost reason that cheese and the Packers are synonymous: Brett Favre Loves Cheese! Say no more, discussion closed! He likes cheese so much, he owns his own cow! Now, you don’t have to own a cow to be a Packer fan, but, if there is any doubt, get yourself a fat-ass, black and white cow!!

The second reason all Packer fans embrace the golden wedgy: fat!! Due to the high fat content found in cheese, it acts as a natural buffer between you and the weather! Quite similar to the endangered elephant seal, Packer fans must protect themselves from the elements. It’s actually very cold in Wisconsin. For this reason, Packer fans must insulate themselves! Eating cheese accomplishes that goal. If it gets too cold, we use our cheese to cover our heads, thus preventing crucial body heat from escaping. Hence, we’re known as “cheeseheads.” Once again, common sense prevails on the Favre Frontier!!

The final connection between a die-hard Packer fan and cheese: Would you like a little WHINE with your cheese? The Green Bay Packers are a most formidable team in the National Football League! They have a tenured quarterback in Brett Favre that is having the time of his life! And guess what? The Packers lost against the Giants. Did you hear Favre complain? No! What a class act. Favre doesn’t have to complain! He’s got his Packer faithful that’ll do it for him. Truly, a complete Packer fan will always WHINE with their cheese! Kind of like a New Yorker’s attitude – it’s just the way they are! A bunch of WHINOs’….

So, there you have it! I love cheese!! The major pitfall to my thesis: Though it has been proven that all Packer fans are also cheese lovers, there is no independent conclusions that all Cheese lovers are also Packer fans.

Wow you all are harsh on poor ol Wade. I wish they would have beat the Giants and then went on to beat the Patriots, but here we are.

PS This thread has some funny shit going on.

Ok Why I am A Packer Fan.
I have been a fan since as far as i can remember. some of my fondest memories will my childhood, high school and college friends have been while watching packer games. Have loved them even during the years they havent been that great. I have about 40 different bret Favre Cards and many more packer cards. I own a cheese head not to be a joke but to show love of the pack. Have the jerseys, hats, and the uno cards for favre. I would actually appreciate a cd and favre dvd. unlike some of the people here. thats why i love the Pack.

P.S. Some of the stuff in this thread is still hilarious even though i like the pack

Oh... this one is easy,

I have been a Packer fan ever since they traded a first round pick in 1992 to My Atlanta Falcons for an alcoholic man loving wannabe quarterback and saved this city... I mean look at it, we still suck, but at least its warm..

I don't even need a paragraph to sum up the Packers.

Remember the game where Brett went out and threw 4 touchdowns in the 1ST HALF after his father died the day before? That was the only time I teared up in a football game...and will be the last time I ever do so. #4 is an icon.

I love the Packers because they have fans who wear cheese on their heads, swill bad beer, and blather on endlessly long after their season's over.

Love, Clint.

:tonguerol

P.S. 25 Packers songs? How is that even possible?

Oh yeah, I deserve to win because I'd been predicting a NE/GB SB since about week 5.

Glad you got it Chuck, I was worried there for a bit. I got the DVD on the way to you as well, you're gonna absolutely LOVE that, hell, even if you're not a Packer fan, and don't hate Favre, that is one awesome documentary.

There's some great tunes on that disc:

Our Favre
The Bears Still Suck Pokla
Vikings Love Boat Theme
We're The Minnesota Vikings
We Love Brett Favre
When The Packers Kick Your Ass
Welcome To The Tundra

Man, all great tunes! :glassesgr

I have one automatic winner already from the previous posts. There's one that hits a cord with me and I knew if anybody mentioned it, it was going to be an automatic winner.
