Is there a difference between the 2k-7k and the other blends such as the Delicias, Londres, Ambassador and such other than size? Is it the same tobacco blend?
Typically blends will change slightly due to the amount of tobacco needed. In a smaller size they may use a touch less ligero to make sure that it burns correctly. That and the ratio of wrapper to binder/filler changes the flavor a bit as well. They try to replicate the blend as closely as possible but it is pretty difficult. I would say they are the same blend, there will just be a slight variance between sizes, then take in consideration the variance year to year in tobacco so you can notice a slight difference in the various sizes
Thank you. I have a bnb groupon that needs to be used by the first week of Dec and would like to get a box of Padrons. I have smoked all the x000 ones and enjoyed them, but would like to get a smaller ring gauge. I was hoping they would be similar.
padron londres or 2000, preferably maduro, when i can, and both overdeliver for their price. also, before anyone asks, padron Ks (and non-K-named Ks like the londres) age fantastically. a year or four is amazing on these sticks.
I think the 000's series are more of a size difference. I agree with Craig Mac. Frankly, I can hardly even tell the difference between a maduro Padron and a natural one either. So I only bought boxes of one wrapper style of each Padron that I have. So if I have a 45yrs maduro, I wont get the natural anymore. But that's just me.
