I don't know if my taste has just changed or if I'm just going crazy. Lately Padron thousand series are my absolute favorite cigars. I prefer them almost over any other cigars out right now.

I even like the thousand series over the Anniversary series most of the time. Am I going crazy or do other BOTL brothers have my same affliction? It's just a down right solid smoke IMO and I get great flavor out of them no matter what.

Just looking for some opinions. Don't get me wrong I still love me some HTF smokes. Maybe I'm just getting set in my ways as a smoker.

I think what makes the thousand series so good is the consistency. It tastes the same every year. Btw, they also age well. I personally prefer the 1926, 80th, 40th, and 46th over almost any cigar. However, I am not a big fan of 1964 as I feel it's not as refined as the 1926.

I am in agreement that the x000 series are delicious. When I get another HUMI I may just fill it with those. Didnt know about the Lonsdale.

Nat or Maddy? I've smoke both numerous times and I don't know if I just can't tell the difference or if too much time has passed in between smoking them to tell. Either way the X000 Series are great smokes and I think they smoke like a cigars double their price range.

The maduro is definitely my first choice but the natural is just as amazing in its own right.
Totally agree! I also agree that unless you smoke one right after the other it's very hard to tell the maduro from the natural. Both are fantastic smokes. I've gravitated toward the 2000, but all the sizes are very consistent and very good.

If its padron and it maduro I love them, I went through a couple of boxes of the londres (corona) of the maduros last year and I couldn't get enough. One of my favorite of all time is the padron 1964 exclusivo maduro, but if I had to chose one the londres maddy would take it 9/10 times.

I agree, they're great cigars. Good construction, great flavor, superb price point. What's not to like :dunno:.

Good news is you can find Padron at almost any shop.
Not at the one in my town :squinteye. But I don't have to go too far to get some and there are plenty of site sponsors if I want to shop from the comfort of my couch.
