I've this review in the computer since some time ago; as well as others that I'll start posting soon. Originally meant to be used for a review blog, certain situations life dealt decided it'd be best to think about it some other time. Before anything, I'd also like to thank the brother who made this review possible: Ken, ye're oneofakind, mate. Thanks a load for the cigars. So...without further ado:

Introduced to the market in 2005, this vitola used tobacco harvested in 2000 and aged 3 years before rolling; to be then aged 2 more years before being sold. Only 5,000 numbered boite nature boxes with 20 cigars each (giving us a total of only 100,000 vitolas worldwide). The cigar has the looks of a regular PSD4, even with the famous red band; except it came with a 2nd band under: a black one with two “R” and “2000” on it, representing the year the tobacco was harvested.
With a beautiful, smooth wrapper which had no noticeable veins nor easily found rolling seems, it gave one of the best first impressions I’ve had from a cigar. Cinnamon coloured wrapper; which gave notes of earth and flowers, the foot of it giving milder notes except for a deeper note of flowers. Cut gorgeously and gave the most perfect draw. The pre-light draw gave nuts, flowers and earth.
Once lit, the cigar gave the thickest, whitest smoke. A strong and full cigar which made a presence without being rash, for it had the smoothest, most balanced profile one could ask for. As the nutty notes grow, I notice the perfectly straight burn line. Around midway through the 1st third, the cigar starts to deliver spices and pepper in copious amounts.
Around the 2nd third gave a roasted nuts profile, which overpowered the strong, black pepper for a tad there. The solid ash, dark gray in colour, fell at 2 ½“. Nuts, earth, spices and hints of flowers appeared and mellowed all throughout the cigar not really letting ye divide the cigar in separate parts, but blending one with the other as a well aged cigar should. Perfectly married flavor notes, with the smoothest profile I’ve had. All in all, a marvelous stick.
