Smoke them now, if you want the young zippy, peppery flavors, however, if you want to taste the really rich flavors and some of it's strength, let them rest for at least two years. After that, unless they fall into a sick period, they will only taste better as they get older. Of course, that all depends on if they are the real thing or not!

Great pickup. I would try one now and hold off if you don't like them. I don't like the try one a month thing unless you're fully stocked with several boxes. But it's really preference.

The vets are gonna tell you to try one every other month or so
I have said it a million times and I'll say it again, after a cigar is at least one year old, it will not change significantly, where you call actually tell the difference, in a one month period. Trying one every six months, makes much more sense.
