Not the best pics, just my phone camera.
The Partagas - Serie D Espeical
The cigar has a cocoa brown wrapper. Feels great, firm throughout, no soft spots. Typical beautiful triple cap, only one vein that can be seen, no glue marks. Seems to be nicely constructed, filled, and rolled.
The clip First impressions are of moist, hay, notes of leather with gentle undertones of honey.
First draw Lit very easily, nice burn. Right away, I got faint hints of cocoa laced with caramel. Very pleasant and sweet smoke right off the bat. Great morning cigar with good amount of smoke.
I read this a lot of wondered about it. To me it means, it burns well, and smokes well. You dont have to work the cigar, it works itself. It is properly rolled and constructed, not plugged up of too loose. Continued wood (if over 4 hours, see a nurse ☺ . Really creamy with a touch of spice.
Had a few burn issues, probably from being so green and right off the truck.
Overall, I really enjoyed this cigar. It is similar to a PSD4, with more more depth. I think these will aged wonderfully.
I'd give it a 92.
Pick up a box or 3 if you get a chance. they come in boxes of 10 for around $145.
