Party Short

Can anyone help a brother out with a Party Short? I was thinking about ordering a box but have yet to try one.

How would you compare these with the RASCC? Tubaman sent me one of each (both from 2006) and both were great, but I preferred the RASCC. However, this is based on smoking two individual cigars on two different evenings, so I'll probably need to investigate this further. :smokingbo

I doubt I'd regret buying a box of either one, but with all of the raves about the Party Short, I was surprised that I preferred the RASCC.

Asher, everyone has their own preferences. You may just prefer the RA profile to the Partagas profile. Nothing whatsoever wrong with that. I have yet to try a RASCC so unfortunately I can't answer you. I have some in the cooler that Fredneck sent me so I plan on "sacrificing one for the better good" here pretty soon, but until then I'm afraid I'm of little use.

Couple of questions though, do you know what the age was on each of those?

I have not has the RASCCs but I love Party shorts for the time they take to smoke and the price. If you're comfortable buying them where you seem em(upon inspection) I can usually pick up a box for 70euro. Now I just need to travel again and find some where that lets me check before I buy.

Yeah, the RA profile may just appeal to me more. Given the praise the Party Short gets, I was expecting it to be dramatically better than the RASCC, but the RASCC more than held its own.

Both of these sticks were from 06, but I don't know the exact age of either one.
