Not surprised. Ochocinco probably will be next. Ever since the Moss success, the Kraft family has always been willing to roll the dice on having the Belichek system polish up a washed up/disgruntled/old turd... For the right price.

Pats are done. Defense sucks and you can't turn it around overnight.

Seems you used to be able to deal for good veteran players and they'd make at least some effort to perform. Look at guys like Corey Dillon, Junior Seau, Randy Moss. Came to NE when a lot of people assumed they were well past their primes and delivered anyway.

Nowadays you get guys who seem pissed that they've been on losing teams so far and you should be grateful they're here. And then they basically stand around with their thumbs up their asses.

Oh well, it was a good run.

I knew haynsworth was done last season. Sure you may have hated it in Washington but if your truly a professional you show up do your job. He has lost the passion for the game, hope he saved some of that money.

Meh.. Pats will make the playoffs. They won't go far, but they'll make the playoffs. The offense with Brady is too good to not make them. As long as the defense can step up a little bit, they'll be just fine in the regular season. Probably going to end up probably 10-6 or 11-5.

Fortunately offense wins games, defense wins championships. They'll win enough for the playoffs, but D isn't going to be good enough for a long run into the playoffs. Offense has had a couple of bad weeks, but they'll turn it around again with Brady at the helm.

Lol I think the Carson palmer move shows that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Call me crazy. I think Palmer still has potential. Unfortunately I think it will take him too long to get going again and he'll be benched before that happens.

Haynesworth, he was just a bust. A model of how to be a terrible player wanting to get paid. He was too out of shape to play consistently.

I can't believe they ever picked up Haynesworth. He has no drive or motivation to do great. I could see the Pats thinking Ocho would be a good pickup if you teamed him up with a great QB like Brady.
