Has anyone tried any of these? They are infused I assume though the magazine says it by wrapper and not actually using the words infused so I'm not all sure. Granted I'm not really big on drinking anything but water with a cigar as I like to taste the cigar as it is and not while eating or drinking. But I thought I would ask and see what anyone has to say. I was also curious if anyone has tried these and smoking monk on how they compare both with beer and without. Hope I'm asking in the right area here but everyone seems to be pretty friendly so yeah.

I would love to help but I only smoke what is popular so I've become a CC snob. I am enjoying double band CC right now. But if @acc05R1 decides he likes infused I will get back into them again. :)
Haven't used an infused wrapper for a blunt in 20 years. That's my only experience with anything infused cigar related. Refuse to try any!

Well it was worth an ask. Thanks guys. I'll probably hold off until my local brewery builds their beer garden/outdoor patio so I can really enjoy pairing some cigars with their beers.

I have no first hand knowledge, but I don't believe these are infused cigars. I think they're blended with a certain beer style pairing in mind but not infused. Just a CI sales gimmick is my guess. I could be wrong though- it happened once before.

Hm okay. I read it on a Thompson magazine I got a few days ago but yeah it's basically that same idea. The inside of the box looks nice as do the sleeves for each cigar. I doubt I'd find it in a B&M but who knows.

I haven't tried the Perdomos but I have smoked a few each of the Smoking Monk line, trying each with beer and without. Sounded fun at the time, but my take on the DE SM is that the cigars aren't strong or flavorful enough to stand up to the beers they're supposed to be paired with - they're better paired with coffee or water in the morning, but interestingly enough, I found them best suited for smoking when you have a head cold / sinus infection and can't really get any flavors from your usual faves. (I discovered that about a month ago, during my last cold. For about a week there, everything I smoked tasted like crap, except for the SM's - they got the job done.)

I can only think of one reason why the SM's worked for me when I was sick; they are rolled with a bit of pipe baccy, which would add flavor the same way it does with the KFC - although the KFC pipe baccy (being fire cured) is presumably much stronger than whatever they're using in the SM's.

ETA - @BeardedGuy512 , if you enjoy drinking but want to taste your smoke more than your drink, have you considered generic light beers? I know I'm in the minority here, but Natty Light is probably my favorite pairing drink - the weakness of flavor works pretty well when it's the cigar that I want to focus on...

@multi-useless Well that was exactly what I was looking for, at least as far as the smoking monk line goes. I'll admit I've tried my favorite beers (pretty much all local craft stuff) with a few cigars but I'm finding it's just not for me. I'd rather just enjoy the cigar for what it is and have a bottle of water just as a cleanser. But it's definitely something to remember for my next poker game, whenever that is. Thanks again!
