I'd love one of those. I really like the Edmundo's and something like that a little shorter would be nice some days.

I have smoked one Edmundo so far and it was enjoyable.

Something just seems weird to me about a short fat cigar like that though. :innocent:

A weird size I'm not interested in. I remember the Hoyo Petite Robusto was bad about the wrapper coming off because of the RG and short size. I won't be buying a box of them.

Figured I'd top this....

What's peoples thoughts on this stick now, 3 years later?

Like, do you prefer em' to the regular Edmundos, or pass on both and go with the good, but seemingly inconsistent #2's instead? Do the same inconsistencies hold true with these 2 fairly recent releases (05/06)?

Curious to hear what y'all think...

I have had an 06 which may have been my favorite cc to date. The 08's I had were a step below that enjoyment level. 09's, were a bit dissapointing in comparison to even the 08's, but not so much that I am willing to forget about the P.E.

A little aside, I was under the impression they were released in 06 and also manufactured in the same year. Anyone know as a fact that to be otherwise.

Going from memory here, as I did find another Petit Edmundo thread when I came across this one.....and as I recall, it had the following information..

Edmundo was released in 05, and the Petit in 06...as you assumed. Never looked up if that was fact or not, but that's what I noticed.

It's one of my favorites. I have an 08 box that is smoking well. I haven't had one of the earlier vintages to compare.

Thanks KPP. I re'read your post and I guess I didn't read it clearly:bottle: . Personally I prefer the petit's over the full Edmundo, no doubt.

I had a few last year and they were fantastic ! The coffee and chocolaty notes halfway through made my mouth water. I don't know if the Edmundo is the same, but I absolutely loved the 3 sticks that I had.

IMHO the 06 - 09 petit edmundos were divine and miles ahead of the edmundo however the 2010 edmundos are much better than the 2010 petit edmundo at least for now.

Got a 10 box I've been sitting on since 2008. I burn one every year. They were great fresh but aging is turning them into fantastic.

Bought a few 08's if I recall. Enjoyed 'em with some friends but found a large green stem in one.
