Hopefully you know who Uwe Boll is.
If not, in short, he's a douchebag German film director - I use the last two words very generously - who specializes in getting the rights to videogames and making bad movies out of them. Like, very bad. Like, all his movies are on the worst 100 movies of all time list. Like, they rape your brain and render you impotent bad.
Anyway, Boll was asked about a similar petition and was quoted as saying that 25,000 (the then-target number) was not nearly enough to make him stop. He went on to say that if "a million" signatures were collected, he'd retire.
This is a worthy cause, so ... yeah.
