Mods, if this thread is not appropriate, please close it immediately. I apologize.

I am looking for recommendations for PDR cigars. I had never tried them before my BOTL small batch I smoked, and I LOVED that thing. Are any of their cigars similar to that blend?
They are a company I have no experience with other than that. My local b&ms don't carry them, so I can't sample and buy. I have to order online and hope for the best.

Much thanks fellas

I have smoked a few BOTLs and really enjoyed them. I have smoked three oscuros and had burn and draw problems with all three.

I'm not seeking any of their regular blends out, but if they make another BOTL cigar I will buy a box.

I am a raving fan of their sticks. My advice is to seek out a sampler and judge for yourself. However, IMHO you cannot go wrong with the Sun Grown Habano, the Oscura or the Reserva Dominicana. Both of these are can't miss sticks.

I agree the BOTL is great smoke, which was my first experience with PDR. I recently got my hands on some sun grown habanos and capa maduras. The sun grown habanos are a nice peppery stick. The capa madura sounds as if it had the same burn issues that cornrow had with the oscuros. Got some good flavors early but had to smoke it faster than usual and it got bitter. Have one resting and will probably revisit the capa madura after work tomorrow.

I love the Habano Sungrown!

From my experience and what I've heard others say, the burn and construction issues were more prevalent with the old blend (no band on foot, boxes of 25). All of the new blend PDRs i've smoked have been issue free.

PDR has some wonderful cigars. The only ones I'm iffy on are the 1878 natural since mine have been sick for awhile. The BOTL small batch, original blend seleccion, sun grown, and oscura have been tasty.

Im a big fan of PDR...they are probably my favorite manf right now. Their 2010 Small Batch rocked and their 1878 Oscura and Madura are outstanding. The Oscura is my top stick right behind the Small Batch. Best part is most of these can be had for very competitive price points.
