got word about 30 ago,,, F-18 crashed around Interstate 805 @ Genesee (about 10 miles away). Pilot ejected, one house fully engulfed. more details later....

Our condo is one exit up the road on 805,,makes me sad to hear that because when we aren't living here in Atlanta we live in San Diego and I take my touring motorcycle up to Miramar with a couple of cigars and just sit and watch the jets do maneuvers. Very sad to hear what happened.

just finished watching the news. not allowing residents into 6 houses. 3 fatalities in one of the houses... grandmother, mother, two children (1 still unaccounted for). dad was at work! just breaks my heart!!
