I don't know if I am more or less upset after reading this. As a parent I cannot imagine my reaction to this.

I heard that this morning. I can't imagine what my mom would have done if I did that. I useed to play with fire alot as a kid. I progressed so much as to light vegataion on fire and put it in my mounth and suck on it for an hour.

I can't imagine -- I dont know about Cali, but in Arizona a parent can only be held responsible for around $2,000 worth of damages caused by his kids.

Damn, I know I played with matches as a kid.

I'm sure he learned a lesson but what help will it really do to hold the parents responsible.

In CA, parents are liable for up to $25,000 in damages caused by minor children.

At the very least, the parents should get billed for emergency services and the kid should polish fire trucks every weekend for the next 3 years.

How ironic, all those homes destroyed and the kids home is still there. I'd shit myself (or more) if I knew I started that and all the damage that it caused.

If he was mine he would be grounded until he was 35 and unable to sit until he was 40.
