I think I'm going to pull the trigger on my first CC purchase. Found a source that seems to be reputable, has decent prices, and has a variety of singles to choose from. It seems like a sampler is a better idea than jumping right in to a box purchase.

My question to you guys who know your way around is: What would you pick if you were building a 10-15 stick sampler for someone new to CCs? On the NC side, I typically prefer med body/strength sticks in corona or robusto vitolas.

Thanks!

Thanks for the recommendations, everyone. This is what I ended up ordering. Went through the "What CC..." thread and took the recommendations from this thread, too. The only recommendation I skipped was ordering multiples of each... THAT one would have blown my budget, so I gambled on singles.

Thanks! Was hoping to snag a few different Cohiba sticks, too, but all were listed as out of stock for singles.

Let them sit for 30 days after delivery maybe 60 considering the source...

Recent production stuff is all smoking good... Don't worry about it. One of my first orders was on of their samplers!

I am planning on leaving them alone for a month or so. I know it's not ideal, but I want to find one or two that I'd like to order boxes of before it gets too cold here so I can get them in and let them nap over the winter.

People buy them and smoke them fresh all the time... The debate comes up on a lot of forums if they are even meant to be aged. 80percent of the sticks I smoke are 2015 production. I do love what aging does but it's really not something to worry about. Buy them and smoke them and enjoy them
