My Dad is going in for surgery in an hour or so to have a pacemaker/defibrillator device implanted.

His heart, unfortunately has significant disease and hopefully this device can help him to live longer and have a better quality of life.

Your thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery would be appreciated.
