I recently received a box of Tobaco Baez Famosos from Famous in which the wrappers are split on every cigar. The box was still sealed and all the sticks still in cellophane. I pulled one out to smoke and it instantly puffed up and the wrapper went everywhere. The next day I tried another with the same results. So, after checking the entire contents, I found that they are already split still in the cellophane.
To discount an issue with storage. I have a walk-in humidor and all of my other cigars are fine.
I emailed customer service and they won't reply. I checked my "purchase history" with them and have bought over $6000 in cigars in the past 24 months which is as far back as the purchase history goes. What do you have to do to just get a reply from these people? :sadstare:
Came back to say that I just got a call from Famous. They offered to replace the bad cigars.
