Maduro, yep. Had it many times but never tasted this.
There's some sweetness, but mainly I'd describe it as plain, unsalted, slightly chewy popped kernels.

I get caramel/buttered popcorn from Ashton Classic lonsdales. Just yummy.
Funny you mention Ashton. Smoking this VSG and getting caramel corn in droves. Nice nice nice!
