Possible 2009 Camaro

Saw this on another board "pictures and info were "stolen" from GM so they're shutting down everyone that has the material but it looks like it's going to happen."

I have no clue if it has any truth but had to share. I'm not crazy about the design at all, I think it's butt ugly.

RS Camaro's from the same time are what is inspiring this design. Very retro; like what it popular with everything today. Think 2005 Mustang inspiration...

Todd's pics are the accurate ones, regarding likely future design. now, I have a dilemma, as a muscle car, ESPECIALLY CAMARO fan:

I have been waiting for the retro styled camaro for years now, due to rumors. basically, though, I MUST get a new vehicle soon, as my '99 Tahoe is getting up there in mileage, and my wife just signed a VERY lucrative deal with CVS, to begin in May.

I cannot possibly wait until late 2008 to get a new ride, but I know I'll really want one when they come out.

My immediate plans are to get a Charger, but the SRT8 version, with the 6.1L Hemi, pushing 425 HP. I am going to love the Charger, and it will be tough to get rid of it after just 2.5 years of driving it.

oh, I test drove a charger a few weeks ago, with "just" the 5.7L Hemi. I turned the traction control off, put the car in drive, floored it, and sat stationary, fishtailing around some, just white smoking the tires for about 20 seconds. it felt really nice.

the first pic looks like a photoshoped new eclipse. the concept on the other hand looks very promising, should be interesting to see if it ever becomes a reality. As a man who almost cried with the death of the f-body I would love to see it come back. I have owned an 87,94 and currently own a 2001 ss if it did I would most certainly have to get one.
