Friends.

It has been about an hour since I returned to Miami from the 2012 IPCPR show in Orlando. As we pulled up to the the house, I could see my wife looking to the left and to the right, all nervous. At first I thought maybe she noticed a dog run by without a leash or something or maybe someone blew a stop sign. But just at that moment, we pulled into our driveway and I saw two ladies jump out of their car and head right for us ... Of course, I realized, they are here to look at the puppies. As some of you know, my wife, Marielos and I are extremely into Dog Rescue, with 177 rescued and another 4 in process. So, after pouring my Bookers Bourbon I decided to hang around to listen to the conversation and whatnot. At the same time I opened my beloved iPhone 4S and looked at the photos that I took during the 4 day show (plus a few that were texted to me).

Almost all of the photos were taken in the DE booth, as I barely left at all. And although there were really not that many photos in total, some of them were very special. Now, before I go to throw them up on Facebook, I thought that it would be kinda neat to share them with BOTL first. Some of the photos are with Final Consumers, some are with Tobacconists, and some are with other Manufacturers. And some are just my fat self. But all of the photos represent a little piece of my personal experience, from my POV, that I wish to share here.

Tomorrow I will ask John Brooke to assist me in making the post the correct way and will add it to this thread.

Very best to each of you,
JD

Can't wait to see, very cool of you. Also good on you for helping in dog rescue. One of our current dogs was a rescue and we couldn't be happier.

I think I speak for everyone here and say that taking the time u do to post here is never overlooked. Wether it be a 6 dollar SF post (okay, okay I'll try it:)--"" ) or just updating us on your daily life as a cigar manufacture. All the time and info u have given, has always been appreciated. Stay classy J.D.

I don't know how you do it bro, but kudos! If it were me I'd be looking for my hammock and a pillow. Can't wait to see the pics when you got time to post. I heard this years show was insanely busy.

IPCPR 2012 Photo Collection:

Below are some of the photos that I shot at the trade show, as well as a few that were texted to me. Some of these photos have a lot of significance in my life and some are simply random shots that we can consider "slice of life".

In any event, I am aware that there are many of me so I hope that I don't look pathological. I just really like my Resevoir Tip Hat. Hahahahahahaha

Finally, much love to the friends and biz peep who made the show, the CRA, IPCPR, and the B&M Tobacconists who keep our culture alive.

The photos are in chronological order and take you through the show in my circumference.
