Hey guys I could use some Prayers and some Cheering up.

Yesterday morning I started to have major Pains in my Chest.
Well I went to the ER and they ran so many fricken tests and Founds nothing. The big worry Factor is they thought I had a blood Clot in my Chest some where.

Most of you know my mom has a termanal Blood disorder.
I got back next week to my Doctor to find out when I can get tested for the Blood condition my mom has. The signs I had yesterday could be the start of what she has.

I am scarred to Death because this condition hits you when you turn around 30.

I turn 27 mon.

I Thought I was having a heart attack and was dying yesterday.

I am better now but still feel like I got kicked in the chest.

I will keep you all posted on whats going on.

The disorder my mon has is genetic and could be passed on.

If we have any doc's here that can maybe help me with q's please pm me.

I know many of the local ones have verry little knoledge about it.

I am haveing my mom's specialist talk to my family doc to make sure this gets handled right.

I am thankfuly my mother is still here but know that she has little time left.

They are doing major sugery on her in the next few weeks.

Any prayers or phone calls would be awesome.

Stephen.

Stephen,

I will keep you in my thoughts in prayers. I am glad that you are having it checked out and not just ignoring it as I am sure many do.

This Stephen wishes another Stephen the best. Hope all is well with you. Best to your Mother as well. Both have to be tough dealing with, especially together. One day at a time brother. Break that down to one hour or one minute at a time if you have to. Best wishes.

Prayers and good thoughts sent Stephen.

For what they're worth, my thoughts are these ...

You are doing the right thing by being proactive in looking for the cause of your problem ... but don't overlook the obvious : stress and anxiety over your mom and yourself. I suffered with a heart condition (Supraventricular Tacycardia) for about 10 years before it was diagnosed correctly. This causes irratic and rapid heartbeat patterns. Along with this I had panic atttacks and these issues basically fed off each other. Before my condition was finally corrected surgically, I was able to manage through a combination of better diet, exercise, meditation, positive thoughts and the occasional Xanax.

I don't know what your chances are of having this blood condition, but having it or not is out of your control. The best things are taking the tests, staying informed, maintaining a positive attitude and keeping yourself healthy. Amazing medical advances are made everyday ... and don't forget that your own body and mind can help you overcome most anything. Just look at Lance Armstrong. He was given a less than 50% chance for survival when he was first diagnosed with cancer back in 1996.

We all know what has happened since then ...
