Sharing the leaves with my fellow cigar smokers. It's great to be part of this community (or family if we're all bros right?).

How many cigars do you guys smoke per week or month? For me, it depends on how many I could get my hands on, usually two a week or so. Am I anywhere near the serious smokers here?

2-3 a week is about what I end up smoking, although I've had lunches with fellow cigar smokers where we spent 4+ hours and went through 3-4 at one sitting. I prefer a large ring-gauge like a robusto or torpedo and my cigars can easily an hour to smoke so for me to have many cigars in a week takes planning...as well as free time which I seldom have.

I've developed a 2-3 a day habit... I mean hobby...

When I was smoking cigarettes I would smoke between 3-8 per month. Since I quite in June of 07' I started sliding that slope.

I hated being a slave to cigarettes. But still I love a good stogie.

Now that we're in warm months, i smoke about 3-5 through the weekdays and i get about 4-5 in during the weekend. During the winter months i'll be lucky to get 2 a week in, and those will be when i'm on one of my day trips and can smoke in the car. A cigar in the house during the winter months only happens about once in a while.

I guess that makes me a seasonal smoker. The birght side of that is that everything that doens't get smoked befroe the winter will have a solid 4 months of extra aging before the frost melts an i can get back to smoking.

The down side of that is that i'm going to keep purchasing through the winter and i'm definitely going to need another cooler or a bigger humi. Darn it.

Welcome. I smoke as many as I can reasonably afford, which lately is one or two a week. I was out of work for a little while recently, but when I have paychecks coming in, it's much more affordable and much more pleasurable to support a cigar-a-day habit than it was to support a pack-a-day, if you know what I mean. But, with that said...if I were independently wealthy...:yes:
